Band Leader

As a leader of all of his own projects, not only is Mills the composer, arranger, producer, musical director, and a performer, but he is also responsible for all of the business matters by also being the manager, publicist, and booking agent as well. Through his efforts, Mills at least partially employs several musicians. 

Musical Director

David Vincent Mills is not only the musical director for his own projects, but he is a musical director for other artists and bands as well. As a musical director, Mills is responsible for working with the artist or band on gathering ideas for the project, song selection, instrumentation and musician selection, to create, arrange, shape and mold along side the artist or band the songs, preparing charts for the musicians if needed, organizing and leading rehearsals, guiding and coaching the artist and musicians, maintaining a creative consistency of the artist's vision for the project throughout, and taking care of logistics, i.e. stage plot, back line, sound and lighting etc. for a show at the venue.

Entertainment Director

David Vincent Mills, as the entertainment director for the restaurant and bar Ken's Creekside of Sedona Arizona, is in charge of booking musicians and bands for the entertainment needs of the establishment. His duties include hiring quality entertainment that is primarily jazz, that meets the needs of Ken's and its patrons within the monthly budget
